Client-Software

Due to the fact that eRecruiter is a web-based recruiting tool, the only requirement for clients/users is a modern web browser. Please note, that we can only support webbrowsers that are also supported by the distributor due to security reasons.:
  1. Latest version of Google Chrome
  2. Latest version of Firefox
  3. Latest version of Edge
 Other internet browsers (e.g. Opera) can also be used, but you may encounter usability issues.

On Premise

Hardware

The following sections show the recommended hardware requirements for the different implementation architectures. If a different architecture is used an operations engineer is required to provide the hardware specification.

Single Server Architecture

  1. ≥ 4 vCPUs
  2. ≥ 16 GB RAM
  3. HDD Storage
    1. OS: ≥ 100 GB HDD
    2. database: min 1 GB (depending on the expected number of applications, jobs and users)
    3. applicant documents: approx. 10 MB / applicant (depending on applicants and document requirements)
    4. applicant database: 2 MB / applicant

DMZ Server Architecture

  1. Intranet Server
    1. 4 vCPUs
    2. ≥ 16 GB RAM
    3. HDD Storage
      1. OS: ≥ 100 GB HDD
      2. database: 1 GB
      3. applicant documents: approx. 10 MB / applicant (depending on applicants and document requirements)
      4. applicant database: 2 MB / applicant
  2. Applicant Portal Server
    1. ≥ 4 vCPU
    2. ≥ 8 GB RAM
    3. ≥ 60 GB HDD

Data Center Architecture

  1. Intranet Server

  2. Applicant Portal Server
    1. ≥ 4 vCPU
    2. ≥ 8 GB RAM

    1. ≥ 1 GB for application database
    2. ≥ 2 MB / applicant
  4. SAN / SMB storage
    1. ≥ 1 GB eRecruiter customizing
    2. approx. 10 MB / applicant (depending on applicants and document requirements)

Server-Software 

In order to install the eRecruiter on-premise the following software requirements must be met on the target servers:
  1. Microsoft Windows Server ≥ 2016  (with IIS 10.0) or higher. Recommended is WinServer2022, since this will be a precondition in the near future for using specific features of eR 
  2. Microsoft .NET Framework ≥ 4.8
  3. Microsoft .NET Core Hosting 3.1 (Bundle: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-aspnetcore-3.1.25-windows-hosting-bundle-installer)
  4. SQL Server
    1. Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or higher, with Fulltext Services
    2. Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Express with Advanced Services (max. 10000 applicants), with Fulltext Services
    3. Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Standard, with Fulltext Services
    4. Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Enterprise, with Fulltext Services
  5. internet access through direct connection or proxy server

Please note, that we can only support webbrowsers that are also supported by the distributor due to security reasons and which should always be updated to the latest version available:
